Bring those files back on subsequent visits to be both eco-conscious and money smart! (We'll discount your manicure services $1, pedicure services $2.)

$8 for gel polish (such as Shellac) that we applied or that we can confirm is gel polish. If you will be removing your gel polish and then receiving another gel manicure or pedicure with us, the soak off is complimentary. If we didn't apply it, and it is not a simple gel polish, then, depending on what you have on your nails (CalGel, OPI, BioSculpture, UV Gel, tips, SNS, etc. and unknown,) the price might be $30 and up. If you know you have Acrylic or UV Permanent Gel please let us know ahead of time as these enhancements take considerably more time to remove and pricing differs.

WHAT ARE BUILDER GELS?
Hard Gel is a special mixture that is applied directly onto the natural nail to "wrap" the nail or lengthen the nail by using a form. Unlike acrylics, gel does not have an odor. The gel is usually applied in very fine layers and 'cured’ or ‘sealed’ with an LED light between each layer so that the finished result is hard but still flexible with a natural looking glossy finish which is both instantly dry and chip resistant. Gels strengthen the nail and promote natural growth. Nails are customized to the client’s needs and preferences. Hard gel nails are not removable by soaking off so there is no need for multiple full sets during the lifetime of wearing UV gel nails. Fill-ins are necessary as nails grow out.
PolyGels are one of the latest builder-type gels that are lighter than acrylic and traditional hard gel but just as strong. Nails feel natural but are just as durable. Fill-ins are required as nails grow out.
While builder gels can be applied on top of a short nail to add length via form or tip, they are particularly good for individuals who have very short, weak or bitten nails because they allow the nail to strengthen and grow below the layer of gel. Gels should be worn long term to be effective and maintained on a regular basis as nails grow out with a fill-in (where the nail grows near the cuticle) or a back-fill (French) anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks as discussed and recommended during your service.
