Contraindications for eyelash extensions:
If you’ve had any adverse reaction to eyelash extensions in the past.
If you are allergic to eyelash glue. (We use a medical adhesive but we recommend performing a patch test 2 days prior to your appointment.)
If you’ve had any eye surgery including a face lift within 3 months please get medical clearance from your doctor prior to scheduling your appointment.
If you’ve had a chemical peel within 3 months.
If you currently have any infection, inflammation, or stye.
If you do not have any of your own eyelashes.
If you are undergoing chemotherapy, you must wait until you have fully completed your therapy.
If you have had a lash lift, you must wait 8 weeks before getting eyelash extensions.
If you have had Botox, you must wait a week before scheduling an appointment.
Prepare for your appointment:
Arrive with no eye makeup on - especially mascara.
You will need to arrive with no contacts or remove your contacts prior to your appointment. Please bring any necessary equipment for that.
After your appointment:
Do not get your lashes wet at all until the morning following your appointment.
Do not wash your face the day and/or night following your appointment. Use a face or baby wipe if necessary. But not on your lashes.
After the initial waiting period, it is important to wash your eyelashes with water every day in the morning. It is imperative to keep your lashes clean.
Brush your lashes every day after you wash them. You can use the brush that you will be given after your set is complete. Do not brush them when they are wet. You must wait until they are completely dry prior to brushing them.\
Do not use mascara on either the top or the bottom lashes.
Eyeliner and eyeshadow is Okay to use but use only oil free makeup remover or micellar water to remove it.
It is recommended to get fills every 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks it is considered another full set.
